When my 22 year old kitty's wombmate passed last year from a stroke, and my dog died 10 days later, my girl went into a deep depression and stopped eating and barely drinking. Before her sister dying, they were 21 year olds acting like 2 year olds. Extremely healthy. My vet was sure it was my girl's kidney, but only the first stage, due to dehydration. I went to a pet supply food store and searched every wet cat food to entice her. As I'm heading to the checkout, I saw 'digestion' on a pkg. I saw the flavor was chicken (she hates anything fishy) and I saw pumpkin! Yes! Dehydration was constpiating my cat, adding to her lack of appetite. SHE LOVES THIS PRODUCT!!! I swear it has saved her life. At first, because the vest said feed her anything, I was hesitant to offer a treat as a meal. But she would likely die if she didnt get something in her.
